Obituary of Harry L. Trethewey

Harry L. Trethewey 76, New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater with his daughter and granddaughter by his side. Born in New Germany, he was a son of the late Leslie and Bernice Trethewey. Harry was a member of IOOF Maple Lodge, New Germany and prior to his illness, he was a woodworker, spending much of his time in his workshop. Surviving are his wife, Pearl Florence (Bruhm); daughter, Edith (Kevin) Himmelman, Chelsea; sons, Gregory (Donna), Pinehurst; Bruce (Solange), Moncton; grandchildren, Jordan, Adam, Matthew, Justin, Alexander, Jake, William and Leslie; great grandchildren, Desirae and Ethan; sister, Maxine (Charles) Musgrove, Dartmouth; brother, Horton (Lorna), Sackville; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Clyde Arthur Trethewey. There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time, interment will be at a later date. No flowers by request, donations in Harry’s memory may be made to IWK Children’s Hospital or charity of choice.
