Obituary of Dorothy Dean Veinot

Genevieve Inez Veinot 90, Upper Northfield, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Union Square, she was a daughter of the late Amos and Lavine (Oickle) Ernst. She was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Union Square. Surviving are her daughters, Joyce Rafuse, Inez (Boyd) Hebb, all of Upper Northfield; son, Basil (Donna) Veinot, Upper Northfield; sisters, Grace MacKay, New Germany; Maude Ernst, Union Square; grandchildren, Angela Veinot, Todd Veinot, Chris Hebb, Jodi Kelly; great grandchildren, Jadzia Hebb, Logan Hebb, Ellie Silver, Madison Silver; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Leon; son, William; sisters, Vera MacKay, Minnie Vautour, Mary Olsen, Alice Veinot; brothers, Freeman, Charles, Joseph, Howard, Ray, Obediah. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 11 a.m. Saturday, in St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Union Square. Rev. Anna Hoeg officiating.
