Obituary of Elizabeth Anne Wamboldt

Elizabeth Anne Wamboldt 59, Greenfield, Queens County, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2009 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, she was the daughter of John “Lynton” and Nora “Catherine” (Fulton) Martin of Buckfield. Elizabeth attended the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Her favorite hobbies were weaving, ceramics and reading. She was very active in the Foster Parents Program as well as the Student Exchange program from Germany and Australia. Her love for her grandchildren brought her great joy. She was a member of the Greenfield Sewing Circle as well as involved in the Girl Guides and Brownies program. Besides her parents, she is survived by her former husband, William; daughters, Jennifer (Glen) Morgan, Halifax; Jackie (Robbie) Shimmin, Vancouver; grandchildren, Kaitlyn; Jackson, Jemma and Chloe; brother, Jim (Cecilia) Martin, Yellowknife. A memorial service will be held 11am Friday in the Greenfield Baptist Church, Rev Dennis Nickerson officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. No flowers or visitation by request. Memorial donations may be made to the I W K Health Center, Halifax or the N. S. Diabetic Association.
