Obituary of Amy Meisner

Amy Muriel Meisner 98, New Germany, Lunenburg County, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in New Germany, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Eldora (Lowe) Tipert. She was a lifetime member of St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church, New Germany, where she was a member of the choir for 75 years; served with the altar guild and former ACW. She was a lifetime member of New Horizons Senior Citizens Club, New Germany and past member of the Rebekah Lodge. Surviving are her daughter, Norma (Freeman) McClary, New Germany; granddaughter, Christa (Jeff) Rosevear; grandson, Chad; great granddaughter, Kendra Amy Rosevear. Sisters, Meda Whynot, Windsor; Elsie Veinot, New Germany; Edith Poole, Caledonia; Margaret Ward, Bridgewater. She was predeceased by husband, Frank; brothers, Maxwell, Layton, Reginald. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 2 p.m. Monday in St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church, Rev. Anna Hoeg officiating.
