Margaret E. Wile
65, Bridgewater, N.S. passed away peacefully with her two boys at her side on Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Margie was born in Amherst, N.S. She was a raised by her father, the late Kenneth Wilson and her aunt, the late Gwendolyn McCormick. She was a longtime resident of Bridgewater and loved her life there, where she brought up her family and had many friends. She was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church and was a lifelong volunteer. She spent her working years with the South Shore Regional School Board. Her greatest calling in life was being a “Grammie” – she was never happier. Margie was predeceased by her husband, Merrill Wile. She is survived by her two sons - Mitchell (Susan) and Michael (Kelly); her two grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Jack and Sarah Wile; her loving brother, Gerald (Mary Louise); and her sisters June (Jim); Cathy (Noel); and Ann (Win) and her special friend Sam Emmons. She had many nieces and nephews. She was a kind and generous soul who was loved very much by her family and her unconditional love will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. “Love you forever Grammie”. Visitation will be at Sweeny’s Funeral Home in Bridgewater, on Friday from 4 pm to 7 pm. Funeral Service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Bridgewater. Special thanks to the incredible doctors and nurses on Floor 8.3 at the Halifax Infirmary – we are truly touched by your compassion.
