Obituary of Kenneth Meisner

Kenneth Patrick Meisner 71, Midville Branch, Lun. Co., passed away due to a tragic accident on his home property September 8, 2007. Born in Midville Branch, he was the son of the late Walter and Violet (Wagner) Meisner. Ken was a dedicated, loving husband and father. He was a hard working woodsman that he enjoyed for the last 20 years. Ken loved to hunt and was eagerly waiting for deer season to open. He also loved fishing and spent many evenings fishing with his wife every spring. He enjoyed playing his guitar and violin and listening to country music. He will be deeply missed by his two dogs, Tiny and Lukey. Ken will be greatly missed and loved forever and always, by his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Betty (Lohnes); daughter, Debby (Larry) Wentzell, granddaughter, Sara Jane; son, Kendall, grandson, Shayne; daughter, Janet, grandsons, Matthew and Zachary ; sisters, Edna Spidell, Auburndale; Pauline Selig, Bridgewater; Patricia Joudrey, Watford; Agnes (Jim) Clinton, Chester Basin; brother, Larry (Linda) Meisner, Truro; sister in law, Rosie, Truro; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, MacArthur, Douglas; brother in laws, Bryden Selig, Walter Spidell, Bruce Joudrey. Visitation will be held Thursday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 2pm Friday, Rev Willis Ott officiating. Private family committal service will be held in the Lone Pine Cemetery, Upper Branch. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the N. S.
