Obituary of Raymond Meisner

Raymond LeRoy Meisner 93, Oakhill, Lunenburg County, formally of Second Penissula passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2007 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Upper Branch, he was a son of the late Levi and Maude (Mailman) Meisner. Surviving are his daughters, Geneva (Clarence) May, Lunenburg; Goldie (Donovan) Hynick, East Chester; sons, Charles (Marie), Bryan (Geraldine), all of Second Peninsula; Basil, Oakhill; Rick (Alvina), Beech Hill; brother, Laurie, Upper Branch; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife the former Dorothy Snyder; 3 granddaughters; a grandson; 5 sisters, 2 brothers. There is no visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral 2 p.m., Saturday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Rev. Paul Jensen officiating, burial will follow in Lone Pine Cemetery, Upper Branch.
