Obituary of David Lysander Conrad

David Lysander Conrad 72, Cherry Hill, Lunenburg County, passed away April 23, 2010 at home. Born in Cherry Hill, he was the son of the late Lysander and Myra (Conrad) Conrad. David graduated from MeLelan School of Engineering in 1958, and in the years that followed spent three years in the Royal Canadian Air Force and achieved his Masters Degree in Engineering. Most of David’s working career was spent at Dalhousie University and in 2004 David was made a life member of The Association of Professional Engineers of Nova Scotia. He is survived by numerous cousins A funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday April 27 in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Rev Ivan Norton officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Broad Cove. No flowers or visitation by request.
