Obituary of Ralph Lewis Corkum

Ralph Lewis Corkum Sr. 78 of New Cumberland, Lunenburg Co., passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Ralph Sr. was the son of the late Philip and Lena (Corkum) Corkum. He lived his life in New Cumberland, enjoyed farming and loved the outdoors. He is survived by his wife Virginia (Rafuse); daughters, Marion (Lloyd Jr.) Shaw, New Cumberland; Susan (Allister) Robar, North River; Nancy (Frank) Arsenault, Calgary; sons, Philip (Carol), Dartmouth; Ralph Jr. (Christine), New Cumberland; Reuben (Nena), New Cumberland; James (Melanie), Dartmouth; sisters, Lettie Garber, Newcombville, Lola Herman, New Cumberland; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Ralph Sr. was predeceased by sisters, Alvada (Lloyd) Joudrey; Marion in infancy; brother in law, Robert Garber. Visitation will be 7 -9 pm Sunday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater where service will be Monday 11 am. Private family burial in the New Cumberland Cemetery following the service. Rev.
