Obituary of Mary Milne

Mary Angela Milne 91, Bridgewater, formerly of Melville Heights, Halifax, passed away peacefully Monday, July 23, 2007 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary (McMahon) Massiah. She is survived by her daughter Judi (Mary Pratt), Bridgewater and her son Ted, Miami Beach; grandsons Marc (Leah), Virginia Beach and Adam, Miami Beach; brother-in-law John K. Milne, Trenton, Ont., sister-in-law Ruth Durance, Mississauga, Ont.and Bertie Massiah; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband W/C Roderick (Rod) F. Milne, RCAF, brothers Bert, John, Bill and Dick, sisters-in-law Jean Massiah, Ruth Milne, Helen Massiah and June Massiah. Thank you to all of Mom’s caregivers. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross, Nova Scotia Division or the Nova Scotia Lung Association. Burial will take place in Notre Dame Cemetery, Ottawa at a later date.
