Obituary of Ruby Irene Eichel

Ruby Irene Eichel 83, of Bridgewater passed away very peacefully in Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg on May 11, 2010. Born in Mount Pleasant, Lunenburg Co., she was the daughter of the late Howard Austin and Phoebe Regina Himmelman. She was a quiet, gentle person devoted to her family. She worked for many years with the Metropolitan Store of Bridgewater until her retirement. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. She leaves to mourn her loss, son Wayne (Debby), Bridgewater; daughter Karen (John), Cookville; daughter-in-law Diane (Warren), Rhodes Corner; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister Beulah Crouse, Bridgewater; brother Lamoine (Florence) Himmelman, Bridgewater; along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas; son David; grandson Cory; son-in-law Boyd; sisters Elfreda, Mildred, Arwilda, Evelyn; brothers Berlin and Edson. Family flowers only. Cremation has taken place with a memorial service at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater on Friday May 14th at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery at a later date.
