Marilyn Yvonne Eisnor
67, Barss Corner, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Dennis and Virginia (Tanner) Mader. Following her employment with Michelin Tires, she became the cafeteria supervisor for many years at New Germany Rural High School. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Germany and always willing to help for any event within the community. Surviving are her daughter, Carla (Michael Dixon), Toronto; son, Michael (Diane), Ottawa; sisters, Doris Dauphinee, Hubbards; Dawn Corkum, New Germany; Carolanne Stevens (Bill Hood), Porters Lake; Faye (Darrell) Penney, Kingston; Judy (Joe) Mullin, Kitchener, Ont.; Patricia (Lester) Wentzell, New Germany; Diane (Kim) Frittenburg, Bridgewater; Kimberley Smith, Hemford; brothers, Ivan, Lower Sackville; Gordon (Thelma), Dartmouth; Ross (Marlene), Squamish, B.C.; Dennis (Wendy), Lunenburg; Richard, Chilliwack, B.C.; Eric (Annette), New Germany; Allen (Valerie), Kentville; Theodore (Ruth), Bridgewater; Barrie (Ken Scriver), New Germany; grandchildren, Samantha and Alexandra; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Byron; brother, David. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Sweeny's Funeral Home, 4895 Route 10, New Germany. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Friday, in Trinity Lutheran Church, New Germany, Rev. Larry Ehrhardt officiating. Private family burial will be in the church cemetery. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Barss Corner Community Hall, Trinity Lutheran Church or charity of choice.
