Obituary of Joseph Lawrence Frank

Joseph Lawrence Frank 65, Bridgewater, passed away, so very peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2010 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, with his family at his side. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Hugh and Hilda (Crouse) Frank. Joseph was employed at the Topsil Beverage Bar and Grill for 34 years until his retirement at the age of 60 due to illness. He was an active member of Royal Canadian Legion, branch 24, Bridgewater for 36 years. Joseph had a great passion for animals and the outdoors. He enjoyed going to his camp in all seasons and loved hunting and fishing with so many special friends. Joseph’s biggest inspiration in the last few years of his life was spending time with his beloved grandchildren and great granddaughter, his Monday and Wednesday poker nights and his cat Tiger. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Faye (Zwicker); daughter, Connie (Matthew); son, Kevin (Mary); four grandchildren, Corey, Justin, Drew, Delaney and great granddaughter Julia. Joseph’s last surviving sibling, brother, George, Langley, B.C.; many nieces and nephews. Joseph’s personal request was that there be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in his memory may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital, SHAID Animal Shelter or charity of choice. We the family would like to express our sincere gratitude for the exceptional care our loved one received from the nurses of South Shore Regional Hospital 4th Floor, you went above and beyond and we will never forget it.
