Obituary of Irving T. Henley

Irving T. Henley 95, Chelsea, passed away March 23, 2010, at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Irving was born in Chelsea on November 11, 1914, the 10th son of Elijah and Bertha (Baker) Henley. In 1939, He married Fayette (Eisnor), his faithful and loving wife for 70 years. He trucked for 37 years and then he worked in Construction until he retired. He was an Honorary Member of the Chelsea Fire Department. He is survived by his wife; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Hazen, Kenneth, Harry, Edmund, Walter, Avon, Purl, Nahum, George, Borden ; sister Ida. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. No Visitation by request of the family. A Service to celebrate Irving’s life will be held 11 a.m., Friday March 26, 2010 at Sweeny’s Funeral Home. Rev. John Kaulback officiating. Private family interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. Flowers from his wife and family only. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
