Obituary of William Edward Henley

William Edward Henley Of Chelsea, Lunenburg County, passed away Tuesday, January 05, 2010 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of Mildred (Wessell) Henley, Chelsea and the late Borden Henley. He was a plumber by trade. Besides his mother he is survived by sons, Neil (Yoshino) Japan; Brett (Carrie) Oakhill; daughters, Deanna Henley ( Kevin Nowe) Conquerall Mills; Danica Henley (Barry Cumming), New Zealand; grandchildren Chelsea and Shawna; brother, Richard (Sheila) Henley; sisters, Louise (John) Aulenback; Julia Oickle and several nieces, nephews and cousins; good friend Carolyn Keating, Bridgewater. He is predeceased by his wife Althea (Meisner); father Borden Henley and niece Dawn (Henley) Vasquez. A memorial service will be held 10:30 Monday in St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater, Father Joe Christenson officiating. Burial will follow in St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Chelsea. No visitation by request. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Chelsea or the South Shore Regional Hospital Palliative care unit.
