Obituary of Gretrude Mackay

Gertrude Elzina MacKay 83, Colpton, passed away May 24, 2007 in the Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Colpton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Heim) Colp. She was a member of the Trinity United Church in Pleasant River. She is survived by her sons Clifford (Carol), Colpton; Brian (Sue), West Clifford; Harold (Brenda), Whynotts Settlement; brothers, Simeon, Colpton; Norman, Bridgetown; Walter, Colpton; sisters, Jean Gaudet, Sackville; Beatrice Fancy, Pleasant River; Lillian (Glen) Jefferson, Clayton Park; Francis Kempton, Caledonia; grandchildren, Michelle, Tammy, Lisa, Melissa, Joshua; great grandchildren, Justin, Holly, Devon, Brady; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Aubrey; brothers, Harris, Joseph, Ernest, William; sisters, Bertha and Betty. A memorial service will be held 11am Monday in the Trinity United Church, Pleasant River, Rev. Joan Conrad officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery, Pleasant River. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Trinity United Church, Pleasant River or the charity of your choice.
