Obituary of Verna Jerusha Lowe

Verna Jerusha Lowe 90, of Lower Branch, Lunenburg County, passed away August 21, 2010 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Stanley Section, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Floy (Jefferson) Ritchie. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Frank, Oshawa, Ont.; sons, Carroll (Joyce), Lower Branch; David (Wanda), Bridgewater; Dale (Jackie), Lower Branch; sisters Ruth Joudrey, Cornwall; Katie Stewart, Lunenburg; brother Ralph (Emily) Ritchie, Stanley Section; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Floyd; grandson, Darrell Lowe and son in law Jack Weller. Visitation will be Monday August 23 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday August 24 in the Bridgewater United Church, Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.
