Obituary of Robert Earl Maloney

Robert Earl Maloney 76, Lake Center, passed away September 30, 2010 at his home in Lake Center. Born in Bridgewater on February 7, 1934 he was the oldest son of the late Michael and Adeline (Dorey) Maloney. In his earlier years, Robert had many jobs, a house painter, auto body repair tech and worked at South Shore Toyota for ten years. Robert enjoyed camping, hunting, snowmobiling, spending time with his family and friends and he always enjoyed a good yodel around the camp fire. Robert could bring a smile to any face with his humor and he will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Viola (Dianne) Maloney (Joudrey); son Earl Maloney (Leann); daughters, Darlene Zwicker, Cheryl Selig (Ivan), Ann Maloney; grandchildren, Natasha (Richard), Ben (Alicia), David, Jennifer, Chantel, Devon, Damion, Madison; great grandson, Austin; sisters Annie O’Brien (Stanley), Katherine Lacey (Philip), Linda Lohnes (Edson); brother Michael Junior Maloney (Amy) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter, Teresa; sisters, Betty and Marjorie; brother in law, Billy; son in laws Royden Zwicker and Dwayne Rafuse. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 PM Sunday October 3 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, from where the service will be held 2:00 PM Monday October 4, Rev. Paul Jensen officiating.
