Obituary of Bernard William MacDonald

Bernard William MacDonald 84, Pine Grove Lunenburg County, passed away June 23, 2010 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Archibald and Josephine Mary (Wile) MacDonald. He was a veteran of the Second World War. He loved country music and played guitar for over 75 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Gladys Naugler; children, Danny (Gayle), Kelowna, BC; James, Bridgewater; Bonnie (Matthew Collins), Bridgewater; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. He was predeceased by brothers, Hugh, Ronald, Jerome, John, and Roderick; sisters, Mary and Florence. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services held. No flowers or visitation at the funeral home by request. Memorial donations may be made to the Sunnyside Cemetery, Whynotts Settlement through Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
