Obituary of Andrea MacMilan
Andrea Amy Helen MacMillan (Amos)
Of Caledonia, Queens County, Nova Scotia passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the Queens Regional Hospital, Liverpool, N.S. Born in Burlington, Ontario on April 22, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Alice (Surridge) Amos. Left to mourn with cherished memories, are her devoted husband of 39 years, Dan Whalen, daughter Ruth (Don) Smith of California; sons Michael (Lisa) Cheney of Annapolis Royal and David (Brad Gould) MacMillan of Yarmouth; grandchildren Amber and Lyna Smith, Connor, Andrew, Charlotte and Laura Cheney, Jennelle (Kyle) Conrad; brother Ed (Sandra) Amos of Farmington, N.S.; Sister-in-laws Peggy Amos and Chrissie MacMillan as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by brother Robert Andrew Amos; Sister-in-laws Annie Moore and Christina MacMillan; Brother-in-laws Murdock and Charlie MacMillan. A celebration of her life will be held at Christ Anglican Church, Caledonia, Queens County, N.S. on Wednesday January 2, 2008 at 11am with Rev. Anna Hoeg officiating. At Andrea’s request cremation has taken place under the direction of C.F. Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater with Spring Interment at East Lake Ainslie, Cape Breton. Family flowers only, please.
