Obituary of Carlotta Gertrude Parks

Carlotta "Lottie" Gertrude Parks 95, formerly of Pleasantville, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2010 in Shoreham Village Nursing Home, Chester, where she had been residing. She was born in Halifax, July 24, 1914. Lottie lived a simple but easy and happy life; Lottie had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and had a great sense of love for animals. She enjoyed tatting, crocheting, needlepoint and knitting. In her early years she lived in Halifax, Dartmouth and Waverly and then came to live with Linda Emino where she lived for 12 years and was a part of the family. She will be sadly missed. Lottie’s fondest wish was almost achieved and that was to live to be 100. A public graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in Acacia Cemetery, Conquerall Bank. Rev. Ivan Norton officiating.
