Obituary of Hector F. Powers

Hector F. Powers 84, of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday May 5, 2010. Born in New Germany, he was the son of the late Harris and Mabel (Feindel) Powers. He worked for forty-three years with Bowater Mersey Paper Company at Rossignol, Medway and Oakhill, Nova Scotia. He is survived by his wife Janetta (Oickle), sons Harris James (Kathy), Charles (Sandra), David, Neil (Cathy) and daughter Beth, four grandchildren and great grand-daughter. He was predeceased by a sister Annie Penny. In lieu of a memorial service, family will receive friends at Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel from 2-4pm on Monday May 10th with a reception to follow at the family home. No flowers by request.
