Obituary of Dorothy Marie Rhodenizer
Dorothy Marie Rhodenizer (Keeping)
On February 27, 2010 Dorothy Marie Rhodenizer (Keeping) surrounded by her loving family entered peacefully into eternal rest. Dorothy (Dot) was born in Halifax Nova Scotia August 1, 1924 the eldest daughter to Albert and Hazel Keeping (Dicks). They settled in Rockingham, but only for a short time. After 13 years Dorothy and Bruce moved to Farmington, Lunenburg County in 1960 where they would spend 48 years. Dorothy was an avid gardener and she tried her hand at most anything. Dorothy loved sewing, knitting, cross stitching, square dancing, cake decorating and flower arranging just to name a few. Dorothy was at home in the kitchen, she loved to cook and for a crowd. “The more the merrier”. As long as Dorothy’s hands were busy she was happy. Dorothy was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
