Obituary of Vernon Crouse

Vernon Rayfield Crouse 59, of Thorold, Ontario, formerly of Dartmouth and Mahone Bay passed away peacefully at St Catharines General Hospital, St Catharines, Ontario Wednesday, May 15, 2002. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of Lillian (Tanner) Crouse and the late Murray Crouse. He worked as a marine electrician and was a member of the Seafarers Union, Thorold, Ont. Besides his mother, he is survived by his brother, Sheldon, Upper Sackville; sisters, Wendy (Gordon) MacIntyre, Truro; Nancy (Marshall) Robar, Bridgewater. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. A memorial service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, May 22, 2002, in St John’s Lutheran Church, Mahone Bay, Rev. Gini Cookman officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date. No flowers by request.
