Laurie James Saulnier
60 passed away Thursday 25 March 2010 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Laurie was born in North River Lunenburg Co. he was the son of Ronald and the late Verna (Robar) Saulnier. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 102, New Germany. He worked at Michelin Tire for 21 years and after his retirement he did odd jobs and then for the past 10 years he drove deliveries for the Chronicle Herald. He is survived by his companion Doreen Robar; son Mike (Krista), Simpsons Corner; step daughter Lisa (Tim), Uhlman, Chelsea; grandchildren Kori-Lyne, Channa, Justin, Tristan and step granddaughter Shelby; several brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. Laurie was predeceased by his 1st wife Maryanne (Emino); son Craig; brothers David and Dale. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held 11 A.M., Monday 29 March in St. Johns in the Wilderness Anglican Church, New Germany, Rev. Oliver Osmond officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Simpson Corner. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Family or charity of choice.
