Obituary of Edna Hope Spidell

Edna Hope Spidell 83, Auburndale, passed away on May 21, 2010 in Hillside Pines Nursing Home, Bridgewater, where she had been residing. Born in Midville Branch, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Violet Grace (Wagner), Meisner. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater. Surviving are daughters, LaVerne Cartwright, Upper LaHave; Carolyn McIntyre, Dartmouth; Leah (Linden) Tanner, Grafton; Yvonne Crouse, Auburndale; sons, Laurie, Paul, both of Midville Branch; Lee (Joan), B.C.; Allen, Auburndale; sisters, Patricia Joudrey, Watford; Agnes (Jimmy) Clinton, Chester Basin; brother, Larry (Linda) Meisner, Truro; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Walter; sister, Pauline Selig; brothers, Ken, Mac and Douglas; son in law, Darrell Crouse. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Monday at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, and where funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday. Pastor Paul Jensen, officiating.
