Obituary of Andrew David Stoddard

A. David Stoddard 76 of Bridgewater passed away on Monday 22 November 2010 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born on Cape Sable Island, he was the son of the late Reginald and Edith (Murphy) Stoddard. Dave is survived by his partner of 35 years Nancy Halliday; daughters Brenda (James) Smith, Bridgewater; Linda (James) Buchannan, Shelburne; sons David A. Stoddard, Lower Sackville; Terry Stoddard, Bridgewater; grandchildren Mike, Tasha, Jennifer, Tyler and Brendan; Great Grandson Riley along with a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Hazel. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday 25 November in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, Rev Willis Ott officiating. No flowers by request and memorial donations in Dave’s memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Bridgewater Branch 24 Poppy Fund.
