Obituary of Beatrice Estelle Veinot

Beatrice Estelle Veinot 92 - passed away peacefully at North Queens Nursing Home on May 25, 2010. Born in Midville Branch, Lunenburg Co. on December 25, 1917, she was the daughter of the late William and Espah (Veinot) Wile. She enjoyed Lexicon Puzzles, reading Catherine Cookson books, knitting wool socks, hooking mats, and the company of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by daughters Shirley Spidle (Lawrence - deceased) Lorimer Higgins, and Christine (Philip) Wigg, their children, Melanie and Kira. Sons - Frank (Christine) children: Greville (Cathy), Gregory (Barbara), Stephanie (Blair) Hussey; Barry - children: David (Tammy), Darren (Shelly), and Christie; Charles; Daryl - children: Caitlin, Emma, Jordan. Great grandchildren: Christopher, Dylon, Brooke, Jessica, Taylor, Brogan, Connor, Keisha., and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald, sister Kathleen Hebb, brothers, Stewart, Ralph, Clayton, Richard, and Lawrence. In respect of her wishes there will be no funeral, memorial, visitation, or reception. There will be a family burial of ashes and graveside service at a later date. The family would like to express a special thanks to Home Care, VON, staff on 4th floor of South Shore Regional Hospital, and North Queens Nursing Home for their extraordinary care and compassion they gave to our mother and grandmother during her last months and days.
