Jean Kathryn Webber
89, of New Germany and Dartmouth, passed away, on Saturday, October 23, 2010 Melville Gardens Nursing Home, Halifax, where she had been residing. Born in Maplewood, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Nina (Wentzell) Veinot. Surviving are her son, Charles (Sue) Webber, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Natalie (Joel) Culligan, Alberta; Nathan (Katrina Reid), Dartmouth; great grandchildren, Kaitlin and Liam Culligan, Alexander and Kyle Webber; sisters, Lois Turner, Forties; Ruby Ferguson, East Dalhousie; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Franklin O. Webber; sons, Frankie and one in infancy; brother, Maynard Wentzell; sisters, Susie Dauphinee, Irene Collicutt, Elsie Maughan Ruth Meisner, Annie Joudrey. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday, in Barss Corner United Baptist Church, Barss Corner. Rev. Norman Hovland officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Barss Corner United Baptist Church or the church cemetery.
