Obituary of Chester Nowe

Chester Delbert Nowe 76, of Cherry Hill, Lunenburg County, passed away April 2, 2007 in the Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in Middlewood, he was a son of the late Stanford E. and Pearl E. (Slauenwhite) Nowe. He is survived by his wife, the former Shirley Nauss; daughters, Cheryl (Pete), Fredericton; Melanie (Craig), East Port Medway; sons, Tim (Rosemary), Prince George BC; Alan (Ingrid), Lunenburg; Jeffry, Cherry Hill; 13 grandchildren; brother, Murray (Daisy), Cherry Hill; sister, Mildred (Elroy), Liverpool. He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald. Funeral service will be held 11am Thursday in St. Matthew’s United Church, Broad Cove, Rev. Karen Ohrt officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Cherry Hill. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Matthew’s United Church, Broad Cove or the Canadian Cancer Society.
