Obituary of Lawrence Albert Zwicker

Lawrence Albert Zwicker 1921 – 2010, with a great sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of a dear husband, dad and grandfather at the QEII Hospital, Halifax on May 28. Born in Newcombville, he was the son of the late Ellard and Edna (Garber) Zwicker. He will be greatly missed by his wife and best friend Marjorie of 56 years; daughter Gail (Brad) Gault, Erin Ontario; grandchildren Ryan in BC and Travis at home; sister Beatrice Beck, Bridgewater; brothers Lorne (Nanette), Newcombville; Mervin, Liverpool; Raymond (Geraldine), Wileville and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Everette, Leaman and Merrill. Cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation and funeral services will be at a later date by Lawrence’s request. Donations may be made to All Saints Lutheran Church, Newcombville or the charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
