Obituary of Bernice Pauline Bolivar
Bernice Pauline "Bunnie" Bolivar
Of Bridgewater, formerly of Baker Settlement. It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Bernice Pauline Bolivar, 95, at the Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater, on October 24, 2011 where she had been residing for the past 16 years. Bernice was the eldest daughter of the late Joseph and Lydia (Garber) Mailman, Baker Settlement. She was a loving and devoted mother to her five sons: St. Clair (Mary), George (Mary Lou), Ernie (Marilyn), Doug (Carole), and Vernie (Linda). Grammie Bunnie was loved dearly by her grandchildren; Dick, Wade, Shawn, Patrick, Laura, Andrea, Brian, Jane, Neil, Blair, Kyle and Robin. She is survived by 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Bernice is survived by her brother-in-law Gerald Hirtle and a special niece Paulette Woodworth and 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew. She was predeceased by sister, Shirley Hirtle. Bunnie loved all her family get-togethers and her many friendships. Gratitude and special thanks to Dr. Morse and to all the staff at Hillside Pines for their excellent care and friendship. Arrangements under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request.
