Obituary of Reginald Sinclair Bollivar

Reginald Sinclair Bollivar 88, of Conquerall Mills passed away Saturday September 24, 2011 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Conquerall Mills, he was the son of the late Clement Solomon and Ruby (Rafuse) Bollivar. Reginald was a founding member of the Hebbs Cross Fire Department in 1966. He served with the Fire Department for 25 years and was the Chief from 1980 to 1984. Dad in his later live enjoyed above all spending time with his family especially his great grand children and step great grand children, to whom he was affectionately known as `Big Grampy``. He is survived by his daughter Janet (Brian) Manuel, Chelsea; sons Paul (Tami), Hebbs Cross; Jim (Charmaine), Crousetown; grandchildren Cory (Amanda) Bollivar, Alberta; Ian (Kendra) Manuel, Chelsea; great grandchildren Ema, Abby, James, Brady and Kayser along with several nieces and nephews. Reginald was predeceased by his wife Helen; brothers Robert and Allen. Visitation will be held Tuesday 7:00 to 9:00 pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where the funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, Rev. Catharine House officiating. A private burial will follow in the Ascension Lutheran Cemetery, Conquerall Mills. A reception will be held in the Hebbs Cross Fire Department after the service.
