Obituary of Donald Eugene Burgoyne

Donald Eugene Burgoyne 85, Cherryfield, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2011 at home. Born in Springfield, he was a son of the late Ralph and Bernice (Robar) Burgoyne. Surviving are daughters, Linda (Arden) Sproule, Lake Pleasant; Christine (David) Whynott, Susan Daniels (Colleen Wamboldt), all of Meisners Section; Kim Burgoyne , Bridgewater; sons, Roland (Carolyn), Ross (Anne), all of Cherryfield; Leonard (Amanda), Lake Pleasant; sisters, Shirley Robar, Colpton rd., Elaine (Lester) Russell, Springfield, Mabel Joudrey, Bridgewater; Ruth Joudrey, Bridgetown; brothers, Douglas (Thelma), Danesville; Irving (Marion), Springfield; Russell (Pauline), Simpsons Corner; Stanley, Annapolis Valley; Nelson; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife the former Lona Isabelle (Whynot); son, Brian; great-grandson, Jeremey; brother, Guilford. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral 2 p.m. Thursday, February 17 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany, Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Burial will be at a later date in North River Church Cemetery.
