Obituary of Mildred Ruth Carver

Mildred Ruth Carver 98, Stanley Section, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, where she had been residing. Born in Walden, she was a daughter of the late George Freeman and Anna Bertha (Crossland) Zwicker. Mildred was a member of New Horizons Seniors Club, New Germany and Epworth United Church, New Germany. Surviving are step daughters, Marjorie Mailman and Helen Pentz, both of Bridgewater; step grandchildren, Glen Carver, Diane Harris, Lorna Poirier, Lisa Carver, Linda Hiltz, John Carver, Faye Rhodenizer, Cheryl Lohnes, Michael Mailman, Sharon and Sheila Pentz, Michelle Phillips; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice Carver; step daughters, Jean and Anne; step sons, Wilfred, Roy and Maurice Jr.; sisters, Annis, Martha and Naomi; brothers, Joseph, Roy, Maynard, Walter, Enos and Maurice. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Service 2 p.m. Thursday in Epworth United Church, New Germany, Pastor Susan Reid officiating.
