Obituary of Elaine Etheleen Feener

Elaine Etheleen Feener 86, of Wentzell Lake passed away September 26, 2011 in Maplestone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Branch LaHave she was the daughter of the late Leon and Jestina (Bolivar) Whynot. Elaine was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater and a Past Matron of the Mae Chapter #38 O.E.S. Bridgewater. She is survived by her daughter Judith (John) Keeping, Hammonds Plains; granddaughter Krista (Donald Hagen) Keeping, Hammonds Plains; sister, Althea Wentzell, Branch LaHave. Elaine was predeceased by her husband Walter; sisters Elfreda Oickle, Evadna Feener; brothers Warren and Harold. There will be no visitation by request. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October1 at 11 a.m. in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater with Rev. William Gustafson officiating. A private family burial of cremains will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, West Northfield. Family flowers only. Memorial donations in Elaine’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
