Obituary of Sylvia Grace Fralic

Sylvia Grace Fralic 79, Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2011 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Ervin Otto and Helen Teresa (Corkum) Corkum. Sylvia grew up in Middle LaHave, married her husband William and moved to Dartmouth where they lived and worked for 29 years. After retirement, they moved back to Bridgewater where she became an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater and was an avid bowler for several different teams. She gave countless hours with the volunteer services and the Daisy of South Shore Regional Hospital. Her wide circle of friends kept her socially active; she was devoted to her little dog Teia. Surviving is her son, William (Annette) Fralic, grandchildren, Clarissa and Logan, all of Blockhouse; sister, Gloria Slauenwhite, Bridgewater; half sisters, Vera (Robert) Bruhm, Northfield; Jean (Paul) Demone, Lunenburg; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, William Fralic Sr.; brothers, Gerald Corkum, Dana Corkum. A private graveside service will be held in the Pleasantville Cemetery.
