Obituary of Diane Marie Joudrey

Diane Marie Joudrey 67 of Barss Corner, passed away June 7, 2011 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. She was a daughter of the late Owen and Sylvia (DeLong) Ramey. Diane was a long standing committee member of the Barss Corner Community Hall and a member of the Barss Corner United Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, George Joudrey; daughters, Michele (Mitchell) Beck; Corrine (Richard) Joudrey; son, George (Natalie Penney); sisters, Marilyn Jolley, Wolfville; Donna (Ronald) Were, Lower Sackville; brothers, Richard (Cheryl) Ramey, Bedford; David Ramey (Nancy Reeves), Barss Corner; Gary (Marlene) Ramey, Bridgewater; grandchildren, Logan and Colton Beck, Holly and Owen Joudrey; many nieces and nephews. Diane was predeceased by brother-in-law, Sid Jolley. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10 New Germany. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Barss Corner United Baptist Church, Barss Corner, Rev. Lloyd Gillieo officiating with a private family burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Barss Corner Community Hall, Arthritis Society of Nova Scotia or the Barss Corner United Baptist Church.
