Obituary of Ruth O. Joudrey

Ruth Oneta Joudrey 82, Lower Branch, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011 in Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay, where she had been residing since 1997. Born April 13, 1929 in Bridgewater, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Deborah (Nowe) Rhodenizer. Surviving are her husband, Vernon A. Joudrey, Lower Branch; sons, Daryl (Lori), Maitland; Blair (Michelle), Pine Grove; Shawn; sisters, Betty Rhodenizer, Bridgewater; Helga (Michael) Sansom, Bedford; 3 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Wednesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and where funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Eric Campbell officiating with burial in Hillside Cemetery, Branch LaHave. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Hillside Cemetery, Huntingtons Society or charity of choice.
