Phyllis Bernice Raimey 87, New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully on Monday, November 21, 2011 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, where she had been residing. Born in Stanburne, she was a daughter of the late George Edward and Laura May (Moore) Drew. Surviving are her husband, Harris Maurice Raimey; daughters, Dianne (Bruce) Churchill, New Germany; Linda (Allie) MacKay, Pinehurst; sons, David (Barbara), Pinehurst; Henry, New Germany; sisters, Hazel Tufts, New Germany; Vella Ramey, Simpsons Corner; brother, Merville, Scarsdale; grandchildren, David, Anne, Richard, Kevin, Stephen, Norman, Darrell, Corey, Lori; great grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Nicholas, Sarah, Paul, Scott, Samuel, Carly, Kadie, Catherine, Christopher; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by infant daughter, Sharon; sister, Dorothy Eisnor; brothers, Weldon, Herman, Ellis, Marshall, Boyd, Lorimer, Carmon, Ford. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, #4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 11 a.m. Thursday, November 24, in St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church, New Germany, Rev. Fran Boutilier officiating. Private family burial will follow in the church cemetery.
