Pauline Myrtle Snyder
94, of Dayspring and most recently of Harbour View Haven of Lunenburg, passed away peacefully, Sunday, February 6, 2011 in the presence of loved ones. Pauline was born in West Northfield July 12, 1916. She was a daughter of the late Lottie and Harold Bruhm. In earlier years, with husband Reginald, while raising their family, she assumed the role of bookkeeper at Snyder’s Shipyard. She also enjoyed the fellowship and friendship as a member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church and its women’s group. She was a member of Woodbine Rebecca Lodge and a longtime member of Dayspring and District Fire Department Auxiliary. She will be remembered lovingly by her family as a quiet, spiritual and strong soul who would never complain and only smile. She will be missed by son, Philip and wife Trudy, Dayspring; daughter, Susan and husband Dale Clattenburg, Lower Sackville; grandchildren, Mark Clattenburg, Lower Sackville, Steven (Andrea) Clattenburg, Peterborough ON and Julie (Jamie) Mason, Mahone Bay. She was also blessed with a great grandson, Aaden Mason. She will also lovingly be missed by special caregivers, Teresa and Randy Oickle, who lived with, loved and cared for her for the last five years. She was predeceased by husband, Reginald “Teddy” and brother, Rex Bruhm. Visitation will be in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, Wednesday from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 10 in Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Upper LaHave with Rev. Ben Coltvet officiating. Family flowers only. Donations in Pauline’s memory may be made to Mt.
