Obituary of Fern Belle Tipert

Fern Belle Tipert 96, New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully on Monday, February 21, 2011 in Harbour View Haven Nursing Home, Lunenburg, where she had been residing for the past number of years. Born in New Germany, she was a daughter of the late Arthur James “Bobby” and Flora Belle (Lohnes) Tipert. During her working years, she was a bank teller for the Royal Bank, New Germany. She was a member of St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church, where during her many years in New Germany, she supported the church in various ways. She is survived by her niece Susan (Paul) Feener, Front Center, Lunenburg who cared for Fern for many years; several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Hazel Tipert; brothers, Joshua and Bernard. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral 11 a.m., Wednesday in St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church. Rev. Ron Appleton officiating. Private burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fern’s memory may be made to St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church.
