Obituary of Beatrice Ruth Veinot

Beatrice Ruth Veinot 94, Hemford, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011 in Harbour View Haven Nursing Home, Lunenburg, where she had been residing. Born in Hemford, she was a daughter of the late Alden and Samantha (Lohnes) Mailman. She was an active supporter of the Emmanuel United Church, Hemford, where she had formerly served as a steward. She was also an avid supporter of all community activities and functions. Surviving are her daughters, Sonia (Dan) Veno, Simpsons Corner; Sandra (Richard Allen) MacQuarrie, Pleasant River; grandchildren, Hector MacQuarrie, Toronto; Jeffrey MacQuarrie, Lake Mush Mush; Mardi (Lloyd) Smith, Nineveh; great grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Cody Smith, Kailee MacQuarrie; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Oscar Veinot; infant son, Hilton; brother, Donald Mailman; half sister, Damie (Lohnes) Turner; half brother, Cecil Lohnes. Visitation 2-4 p.m. Thursday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday in Emmanuel United Church, Hemford, Rev. Dale Gray officiating. Private family interment to follow in Hemford Community Cemetery.
