Obituary of Kathleen Geneva Whynot

Kathleen Geneva Whynot 91, North River, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, where she had been residing. Born in Cherryfield, she was a daughter of the late Perry and Ethel (Adams) Conn. Surviving are daughter, Edith Whynot, New Germany; son, Elmer Whynot, North River; brother, Raymond Conn, New Germany; 5 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Harold Whynot; daughter, Leotta in infancy; sons, Clinton and Milton; sister, Doris Conn; brother, Earl Conn; a great granddaughter. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. today, Friday, August 5 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North River. Rev. David Whynot officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery or the family.
