Nora May Pearl Wilson 71, Buckfield, Queens Co., passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at home in Buckfield. Born, August 9, 1939 she was a daughter of the late Harold and Nora (MacDonald) Shirley. Surviving are her husband, John Henry Wilson, Buckfield; daughter, Marilyn Hacquoil (Todd), Bridgewater; sons, Darrell Tanner (Tammy), Winnipeg; Douglas (Nadine) Tanner, Hammonds Plains; 5 step children; 4 grandchildren, 15 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Noftle, Spryfield; Paulette (Ray) Cluett, Kingston; Doris (Aubrey) Nicholson, Hubley; brother, Harold, Beaver Bank; several nieces and nephews. Visitation, 1 p.m., Monday, February 7, in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, followed by funeral service at 2 p.m. Rev. Reg MacDonald officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of choice.
