Mervin Raymond Zwicker
1935 – 2011, it is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mervin Zwicker of Dayspring, Lunenburg County on Monday 2 May 2011. Born in Gold River, he was the son of the late Charles and Hazel (Keizer) Zwicker. Mervin was a real outdoor kind of guy; he loved hunting, fishing, making up his wood and just puttering around in the sunshine. He also loved the company of his nephews and nieces. Brother of Joan (Fred) Robar, Whynotts Settlement; Vangie Bolivar, Bridgewater; Margie Whynott, Maders Cove; Clarence (Marg) Zwicker, Caribou Lake; Donald (Cecilia) Zwicker, Yarmouth; Derald Zwicker, Conquerall Bank; Beloved uncle of Paulette (Pat) Gear; Lisa (Gary) Rees; Tracy Carver and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Paul and Joe; sister-in-law Maude. A celebration of Mervin’s life will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday 4 May in the family home at 213 Leary Fraser Road, Dayspring. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday 5 May in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, Rev. William Gustafson officiating. Burial will follow in the Dayspring cemetery.
