Obituary of Harry Hirtle

Harry William Hirtle 77, of Cookville, formerly of LaHave Islands, Lunenburg County, passed away October 14, 2002 in Cookville. Born in LaHave Islands, he was a son of the late Charles William and Mary Jane (Walfield) Hirtle. He is survived by children, David (Susan), Bush Island; Joyce (Vernon) Baker, Bells Island; Beatrice (David) Lohnes, Cookville; Molly, Dublin Shore; Fred (Valerie), Pleasantville; Marion (Bayne) Sperry, Mount Pleasant; Robert (Carla), Dublin Shore; grandchildren, Gail, Scott, Judy, Darren, Stephanie, Chad, Chris, Laura, Danica; great grandchildren, Melissa, Damin, Dimitre, Emma, Hanna, Jenna; a sister, Verna Himmelman, Rhodes Corner. He was predeceased by his wife, Daisy (Walfield); son, Gary Otto; grandson, John; several brothers and sisters. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral service will be held 2pm Thursday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Rev. Laurence Mawhinney officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, West Dublin. Family flowers only.
