Obituary of Rena Maude Bell

Rena Maude Bell 83, Bridgewater, passed away peacefully March 8, 2012, surrounded by family and friends at Ryan Hall, Bridgewater. Rena was the daughter of late Herman and Isabel (Morrison) Ferguson. Born in Wellington, PEI, Rena moved to Bridgewater in 1950. She worked at Lighthouse Publishing until her retirement. She enjoyed knitting, quilting and baking and the annual vacation visits of her two loving grandchildren. She is survived by daughter Christine (Tim Richardson), Riverport, son William (Frances) and grandchildren Nicole and Stephen, Wabush NL, sister, Mildred Barlow, PEI and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert, brother, Ivan Ferguson, sisters, Ethel Thompson and Mae Clark, brothers-in-law, Winfred Clark, Wilfred Thompson and Lorne Barlow. Visitation will be held in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, Sunday, March 11, 2012, 7- 9 pm. Memorial Service will be held 2 pm Monday, March 12 at Bridgewater United Church, Rev. Robert Zinck officiating. Committal Service will be held on PEI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Bridgewater United Church.
