Obituary of Frances Lillian Best

Frances Lillian Best 93, Springfield, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2012 in Hillside Pines Nursing Home, Bridgewater, where she had been residing. Born, September 9, 1918 in Hemford, she was a daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Demone) Veinot. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are daughter, Cheryll Best, Yarmouth; sons, Clayton “Jr.” (Carla), Spokane, Wa; Clarke (Mary Jane), Jerry (Marilyn), Leroy (Maureen), Glen (Una), all of Ontario; Ronald (Phyllis), Wolfville; Brian (Laura), East Dalhousie; half brothers, Cyril Veinot, Alfred Veinot, Hilton Veinot all of Hemford; 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur “Clayton” Best; sisters, Greta Lowe, Jean Fralic, half sister, Grace Colp; brothers, Warren Veinot, Leaman Veinot, Gerald Veinot, Paul Dunn, half brothers, Clifford Veinot, Roland Veinot. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. A private family service will be held at a later date.
