Obituary of Nora Mae Borgel

Nora Mae Borgel 74 of Broad Cove, Lunenburg Co. passed away October 27, 2012 in Queen’s General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in Brooklyn, Queen’s Co. she was a daughter of the late Walford and Vera (Vaughan) Manthorne of Broad Cove. Surviving are her son Glenn (Lynn) Borgel, Bridgewater; daughter Marilyn (Mike) Pineo, Dartmouth; brothers Walford Jr.; Sonny (June) Manthorne, Bridgewater; sister Anne Louise (Lester) Wamboldt, Petite Riviere; brother-in-law Jim Rhodenizer, West LaHave; sister-in-law Lela (Gary) Taylor, Broad Cove; grandchildren Jennie Borgel, Fredericton NB; Jessica Pineo, Dartmouth and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Merrill; brother Balford and sister Rosemary. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Family flowers only, please.
